KERALA STATE COUNCIL FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT

Overview

The Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) programme of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) aims to support Ph.D. holders in Science and Engineering with a strong research background. This initiative is designed to promote advanced research and foster the development of young scientists in their early career.

Fellowships are awarded to candidates who have demonstrated excellence in their doctoral work and have published high-quality research in peer-reviewed SCI journals. The fellowship must be availed at a research institution other than the one where the candidate completed their Ph.D., and only institutions within India are eligible.

Selection is based on merit and is carried out through a rigorous screening process by a selection committee. Evaluation parameters include the quality of the research proposal, academic credentials, publication record, recognitions, presentation, and discussions during the interview.
